This patient presented with sudden vision loss from this rhegmatogenous retinal detachment (RRD). Optos imaging shows a superotemporal macula-off RRD with an equatorial ring of numerous small retinal tears, along with a large ragged tear simulating stalactites. The patient subsequently underwent successful retinal reattachment surgery with vitrectomy.
